19.11.2011 · I actually have a Globe Milling head I use on my Logan lathe. It works well for both milling and increasing the capacity of the lathe, sort of a gap bed feature without the gap. The attached photos are of the Globe Head on my lathe being used to bore a hole in a steel plate that was too long to swing. It is very rigid and quite useful from time to time, plus it came as an accessory with my lathe.
